Today rounds off another very successful fishing block in our s1-3 Broader Curriculum electives. The children have leaned to set up their own rods, fish with bait and have caught a good number of fish. With the exception of one day where we were rained off the weather has been great too. The girls have demonstrated great skill (or luck) and caught as many fish between the two of them as 9 boys have managed between all nine of them!
Well done to all and a big thank you once again to Robert ad Brendan at Ardgowan Fisheries for all their help.
We look forward to another fishing block next year.
